Blogs are online journals that
allow you to share your thoughts, ideas and opinions to the world. Most blogs
focus on a particular topic such as fashion, technology, politics and business.
Some blogs focus on details about one’s personal life, while others focus on a
certain career or profession. Over the years, blogs have allowed bloggers to
interact with their followers, allowing them to leave comments on postings.
Anyone can blog and there are so many websites like Tumblr and Blogger that allows
anyone to start blogging. Maybe blogging is not of interest to you, but you are
interested in what other people have to say. You can easily compile all of your
favorite online blogs by visiting one site. Some popular sites that allow you
to do this are Bloglovin’, Feedly, Bloglines, NewsBlur, and Digg Reader. Bloglovin’
allows you to access your blogs from a personal computer, phone or tablet.
Blogs are suggested for you to follow based on your interest and all of your
blogs are compiled on one news feed making it easy to stay up on the latest
postings. News blur as a wonderful layout and allows you to tour the site first
before signing up, but the only downfall is that you are limited to the number
of blogs you can follow before having to pay. Blogline allows you to find blogs
in your city which is great for people who are new in town or visiting and
looking for things and place of interest. Feedly allows you to search topic of
interest and presents a list of blogs to follow. Digg Reader allows for easy
sign up by just logging into your Twitter, Facebook and Google account. I
choose Bloglovin’ to compose all of my favorite blogs together because of its
eye catching layout and easy to follow format.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy the witty blogs with real life examples of wacky stuff. I also like blogs that relate to library humor. We don't always get the chance to share that with staff.
